“The Waiting Room” is an rKive Production, written and directed by the wonderful and inspiring Monica Dee. I play the character of “Matron” – a strong and controlling African woman – so much fun. “The Waiting Room is “a short story that is driven by flash backs connected to the present day. A young women meets a stranger to whom she is instantly drawn to and without her knowing so he helps her to unlock her presence in the waiting room. Simultaneously she tries to discover who he is but some chilling home truths arise.”
